We have three* winterized waterfront homes available 12 months of the year.  The floating chalet has a gas fireplace with a magnificent oak mantle and the four-bedroom executive home has a beautiful wood stove!  Both of these homes have electric baseboard heating in case it is really cool-not an issue in the summer!   The five-bedroom stone manor has a brand new furnace and has central air-conditioning available upon request.  This home will have another heat source such as a gas fireplace or a woodstove added in the fall/winter 2006, however we have not finalized our research.

We are located at the “beginning” of the 1000 Islands Area of the beautiful St. Lawrence River, Southern Ontario, is 6.5 hours north of Philadelphia, 100 minutes north of Syracuse, 55 minutes south of Ottawa, 55 minutes east of Kingston, 40 minutes east of Ganonoque, 90 minutes west of the Montreal suburbs and the Pierre Elliot Trudeau Airport.   If you are using map quest, the closest major city is Ogdensburg, New York-there is an international bridge that crosses into Canada at this point.  The homes are less than 10 minutes from the bridge.  This is a secondary crossing so holiday and weekend back ups may only be five to ten vehicles, depending what time of day you are crossing.
